A four-pass viewing routine
First watch for the full duration without pausing. On the second pass, isolate landmarks and movement. On the third, compare the recording with your current surroundings. Use a fourth pass only to confirm the strongest match.
- Pass 1 — sequence: what changes, repeats or interrupts?
- Pass 2 — anchors: buildings, colors, signs, silhouettes and sounds.
- Pass 3 — mapping: which anchor could exist in the explorable town?
- Pass 4 — verification: what observation would disprove your theory?
When the signal becomes a threat
Official hands-on material frames the CRTV as more than a passive clue viewer. Keep a mental exit route before committing to a long inspection, especially when the signal or environment becomes unstable.
This is a preparation principle, not a claim about a hidden launch mechanic. Combat and evasion are confirmed; exact encounter rules will be tested after release.
